Two Special Choruses to Perform at Grand Finale
The Medford's Rising Star Chorus and Junior Chorus will perform during the grand finale on October 18, 2008. Your friends and neighbors may be in the show, so come support them—the Buddy Coholon Memory Loss Center!

Auditions were held at Medford High School on September, 27. The response was amazing, and the amount of local talent was overwhelming. We'd like to thank all who auditioned—the judges certainly had to make some tough decisions. Congratulations to the following finalists:

About Medford's Rising Star
You've watched "American Idol," "America's Got Talent" and "So You Think You Can Dance." You may even remember "Star Search" or "Community Auditions." Well, there'll soon be a contest to showcase the extraordinary, and most likely unknown, talent in our community—Medford's Rising Star—sponsored by the Jingle Bell Festival Committee! Auditions will take place in September, when 30 finalists (10 from each age group) will be selected to star in the grand finale to be held in October. A panel of experts will choose a winner from each age group:
- 6-12 years;
- 13-17 years; and
- 18 years or older.
The winners will receive great prizes, including an opportunity to be a featured performer at appropriate local events. Proceeds will benefit Community Family's Buddy Coholon Memory Loss Center.
