About

Now in its tenth year, the Medford Jingle Bell Festival has become a successful fundraising effort for two community organizations. Associated events include a tree-lighting ceremony and tree display at City Hall Plaza, as well as a tour of some of Medford's finest homes. 2004's festival included a world record-breaking "Carol Sing," where Medford assembled the largest group ever to sing carols in one area.

To mark our tenth anniversary, the Jingle Bell Festival Committee launched Medford's Rising Star to showcase local talent. The event was a huge success, and we look forward to adding it to our annual line-up. In addition, we will feature some of Medford's Rising Star Finalists in our first ever "Jingle Bell Rock," which will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Medford City Hall.

The community response to this festival has been extraordinarily enthusiastic. In addition, the support of Mayor Michael J. McGlynn has been a critical success factor since 1999. As a result, the festival has been able to donate ever-increasing proceeds to the Community Family's Buddy Coholan Memory Loss Center.

Finally, the event would not be what it is today without the hard work of a dedicated group of committee members, sponsors, donors and volunteers .

We look forward to seeing you at the festival, and hope you and your family find the event entertaining and memorable. Thank you!
